Who We Are Mission Statement
The Daniel Boone Homestead preserves its historic, cultural, and natural resources to educate and interpret the life of Daniel Boone, the history of the Oley Valley and promote environmental stewardship through engaging, and interactive experiences that are relevant, accessible, and meaningful to diverse audiences. The Daniel Boone Homestead Associates, a non-profit community-based organization, supports and assists the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in the operation of the site.
The Daniel Boone Homestead’s “signature Hands-on-History” approach to learning means that visitors of all ages can have a lively and interactive experience. With our dedication to careful and ongoing research, we are continually updating our exhibits and information.
The Daniel Boone Homestead is administered in partnership with the Daniel Boone Homestead Associates and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, a Commonwealth agency. The Daniel Boone Homestead Associates is a private non-profit organization that works with the Commonwealth to provide educational programs and initiatives.
